While en route to the scene, sheriff's deputies learned three people were working to push a stuck vehicle off the railroad tracks while the vehicle's owner was in the driver's seat. It was at that point a Canada Pacific Rail train traveling through the area struck the vehicle.

"Fortunate for the owner, she only received minor injuries," the sheriff's office stated in a Facebook post.

The sheriff's office stated deputies were working to find the three who pushed the stuck vehicle to "recognize them for the heroic act."
