Ramsey County announced Wednesday that Rice Street between Vadnais Boulevard and Gramsie Road in Shoreview and Vadnais Heights has been reopened to northbound traffic.

That stretch of the road was closed last month due to flooding issues caused by rising water levels in Lake Vadnais.

The release said the timeline for reopening the road to southbound traffic remains dependent on weather conditions and water levels.

The westbound Interstate 694 ramp to Rice Street, which was also closed in April due to flooding, remains closed as well.
