A man walking on a central Minnesota highway was struck by a driver Sunday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 28-year-old Taban Simon Tharek was walking eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 23 just east of St. Cloud when he was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 64-year-old Steven Mark Wood.
