A fatal crash in Inver Grove Heights is under investigation Wednesday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred in the area of Highway 55 at Argenta Trail.

The westbound side of the highway was temporarily closed, according to the state patrol.

Authorities have not yet released information on how many people were in the crash.

However, a crash report states that 22-year-old Rebecca Christine Waller, of Harris, was killed in the crash.

The report says a Honda was driving in the far right lane of eastbound Highway 55 when it turned north on Argenta Trail against a red light. In attempting to cross westbound traffic, the Honda was hit by a pickup and again by a westbound semi, the report states.

More details are expected to be released at a later time.
