A driver was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Nowthen, Minnesota Tuesday night.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, emergency responders were directed to a report of a personal injury motor vehicle crash on Old Viking Boulevard NW at West Fordbrook Drive NW. 


Deputies and officers arrived on scene and found the lone occupant of the vehicle severely injured. Lifesaving efforts were attempted, but the driver was pronounced dead on scene. 

Initial information shows the vehicle as traveling eastbound on Old Viking Boulevard NW when it left the roadway and overturned. 

The crash remains under investigation.
