There's about another month left in the 2019 construction season and there are a couple of projects to watch for this week.

The westbound lanes along I-94 will continue to close nightly in Minneapolis from Highway 280 to I-35W. The work is part of a bridge repair project that's taking place at 22nd Avenue and 25th Avenue.

The closures will kick off each night at 10 p.m. and clear by 6 a.m. the following morning.

According to MnDOT, the nightly closures will continue until Saturday, Nov. 9. The detour takes motorists to Interstate 35E, Highway 36, and Interstate 35W. The ramp to Highway 280 will remain open.

Meanwhile, the daily lane closures along Interstate 94 between Maple Grove and Hasty will continue for another couple of weeks. The work mainly occurs during off-peak periods, but the crews will not work during Saturday nights.

It's all part of a larger project between Maple Grove and Clearwater that will continue until the fall of 2021.
