Construction projects in the South Metro may impact travel to Sunday's Warped Tour at Canterbury Park.

According to a release, drivers should be aware the crosstown Highway 62 is closed in both directions between Highway 55 and Interstate 35W until 5 a.m. Monday.

In addition, Westbound lanes of Interstate 494 between Highway 212 and Highway 100 are also closed until 5 a.m. Monday. 

Concert promoters suggest guests allow extra travel time, follow detours, use alternative routes and map directions using GPS. 

Earlier this week, Gov. Mark Dayton proclaimed Sunday, July 22 as Warped Tour Day. The traveling music festival, now in its final year, has visited Minnesota for 22 consecutive seasons, delivering "a unique and memorable experience for all punk, ska and hip hop music fans."
