Upon arrival at the scene, deputies determined the driver of the motorcycle, 63-year-old Daniel Folsom of Richfield, was deceased at the scene. Investigation and witness statements determined Folsom was driving north on State Highway 35 when he traveled into a guardrail. Folsom was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries.

Folsom was not wearing a helmet, and speed and alcohol are not believed to be a factor at this time.
