Drivers trying to find a way around freeway construction in South Minneapolis are clogging city streets.
And neighbors say many are going too fast.
At a meeting at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park in Minneapolis Wednesday, residents voiced their concerns and council member Andrea Jenkins promised to take action.
These South Minneapolis neighbors may have three more years of fighting traffic.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the $239 million reconstruction of interstates 35W and 94 won't be finished until 2021.
