Ramp, Bridge and Road Closures Start Monday Around Metro

When you come back to work on Monday, you'll notice some changes to your drive in the south metro.

In Edina, the Tracy Avenue Bridge is closing at Highway 62 until Saturday. The Minnesota Department of Transportation has decided to keep the ramps from Highway 62 to Tracy Avenue open. Learn more about the project.

In Bloomington, the ramp from East Bush Lake Road to Interstate 494 eastbound will close beginning at 4 a.m. Monday. The work will last until mid-October with the detour taking motorists to Industrial Boulevard. Learn more about the project.

After a rain delay, the closure of Interstate 35W southbound between Interstate 94 and Highway 62 was set to take place Monday night, however, MnDOT officials further delayed the closure to 10 p.m. Tuesday. It's expected to reopen Wednesday at 5 a.m. The detour takes drivers to I-94, Interstate 394, Highway 100 and Highway 62. The work is related to the larger I-35W Downtown to the Crosstown Project.

In the north metro, lane closures begin today along Highway 610 in Maple Grove. According to MnDOT, the eastbound side will be reduced to one lane from I-94 to Elm Creek Boulevard starting at 9 a.m. for the next month. Crews will be constructing concrete median barriers in the area.
