A portion of Interstate 94 was closed in western Wisconsin as emergency crews worked to clear up crashes caused by slick road conditions, according to ABC affiliate WQOW

According to Wisconsin DOT, the eastbound lanes of I-94 are now open near Highway 53 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin after being closed. Additionally, the westbound lanes of I-94 were closed at Highway 10 in Osseo, Wisconsin because of multiple crashes at mile marker 81 which is near Highway HH. However, westbound on I-94 has re-opened.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says the crash happened around 9:48 a.m., involving 3 semi-trucks. There were only minor injuries noted in the crash.

Drivers traveling on I-94 and other roads are advised to turn on their vehicles' lights, slow down and leave plenty of room between their vehicle and the other ahead of them.

The American Red Cross is opening a reception center for those impacted by the crash. The location is at the Osseo Fire Department.
