Those heading north of the Twin Cities this weekend will find some changes to the drive along Highway 10.
First of all, in Wadena, the road closed near the downtown area earlier this week. Crews are in the process of a reconstruction project that lasts into October.
The detour takes drivers to Highway 71, Highway 29, and County Road 75.
In Detroit Lakes, drivers will encounter alternating lane closures on the east side of the city. The work kicked off on Monday and will last for about a month. The work is related to the 2020 intersection improvement project at Kris Street and County Road 54.
In better news, if you're taking Highway 61 up north, the detour in Grand Marais has been lifted.
