Police chase starts in Little Canada, ends with crash in St. Paul

A man led police on a chase from Little Canada to St. Paul late Sunday night.

According to Ramsey County spokesperson Roy Magneson, the incident began around 9:30 p.m. with a call regarding someone violating their no-contact order.


The call then lead to a pursuit by law enforcement and the suspect. The chase ended with a crash on Interstate 35E, between the areas of Wheelock Parkway and Maryland Avenue. Magneson said he was unsure how many cars were involved in the crash.

The suspect was transported to Regions Hospital, where he is in custody. His condition at this time is unknown.

An undisclosed amount of people were also taken to Regions Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. 

The incident remains under investigation.
