The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews have some bridge work to do and it will require multiple closures this week.
Interstate 94 eastbound shuts down between Interstate 394 and Interstate 35W on Monday and Thursday nights starting at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. Drivers will be diverted to I-394, Highway 100 and Highway 62. On Wednesday night, the westbound lanes of I-94 will close overnight. The work is part of the larger Downtown to Crosstown Project.
If you're traveling in the southeast metro, lane closures could slow you down, too. On Sunday and Monday night, work will reduce I-494 westbound to two lanes from Highway 61 to Highway 52. The lane restrictions will go into place each night at 6 p.m. and wrap up the following day by 6 a.m. Learn more about the project.
