One road into Henderson is expected to reopen Friday, just as the Minnesota Department of Transportation says another is expected to close.

A MnDOT release said the stretch of Highway 93 between Highway 169 and Henderson, which was once again closed due to flooding on the Rush River Thursday, was expected to reopen by around 11 a.m. Friday. Waters on the Rush River have receded, though motorists are still advised to use caution as the water remains close to the road.

That stretch of the highway had also been closed from March 16 to April 30 due to flooding.

Meanwhile, MnDOT also said Highway 19 from Highway 169 to Henderson is likely to close over the weekend due to flooding on the Minnesota River.
