A man died in a crash in St. Paul early Sunday morning.

According to the State Patrol report, the crash happened around 3:18 a.m. A Dodge Dakota pickup, driven by 33-year-old Christopher Michael Kelly of Newport, was traveling southbound on Highway 280 and exited to Eastbound I-94.


Near the bottom of the ramp, the pickup hit the median wall and began to roll. Kelly was ejected from the pickup before the vehicle came to rest on its roof. 

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the report. The State Patrol said it was unknown whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
