Get ready for another round of lane shifts, lane restrictions and ramp closures this week.

In the northwest metro, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is working on putting a new configuration into place along Interstate 94 westbound from Maple Grove to St. Michael.

The shift has been postponed a number of times but MnDOT is now hoping to complete the move on Monday night.

The lanes will be separated by a barrier and drivers will need to make a decision before Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove. Stay to the right if you need to exit off of I-94 or stay to the left to travel straight through.

Meanwhile, Highway 7 will be reduced to one lane in St. Louis Park this week. Watch for those lane restrictions to occur between Texas Avenue and Highway 100, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In the north metro, three new ramps will be closing along I-35W. The ramps to and from County Road 96 and I-35W northbound will close starting Wednesday. The ramp from I-35W northbound to County Road 10 will close at the same time. All three ramps will reopen in the next month.
