The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the pedestrian killed in a crash that caused a closure on Highway 252 in Brooklyn Park Monday night.
The state patrol reports the victim was 35-year-old Patrick Mack, of Minneapolis.
Investigators said Mack was trying to cross Highway 252 at Brookdale Drive at about 5:30 p.m. Monday when the crash occurred.
According to the state patrol, Mack did not have the right of way and the "Do not cross" sign was on.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Mack was not hurt in the crash, the state patrol reported.
Northbound lanes of Highway 252 were closed for a period of time Monday night as a result of the crash.
