State officials say a stepped-up enforcement campaign to catch impaired drivers resulted in nearly 400 DWI arrests over the weekend.
The state Department of Public Safety's Office of Traffic Safety said via Twitter law enforcement arrested 370 people for DWI between 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
Starting late last week, the traffic safety office sent a spate of St. Patrick's Day-themed tweets warning would-be drivers that extra enforcement would be out on state roads over the weekend to look for DWI offenders.
