Police in Champlin say a medical situation led to a one-vehicle crash that backed up traffic on Highway 169 Thursday afternoon.

Police chief Ty Schmidt said the driver, a male, was transported to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.


There was no word on his condition.

Meanwhile, across the Mississippi River in Anoka, a tweet from police there said a stretch of Highway 47 was closed after an injury crash.
