One man is dead after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Kasota Township. 

Le Sueur County Sheriff's deputies responded to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Shanaska Creek Road and North Shore Drive at approximately 1:40 p.m. Friday, according to a release. 


Preliminary investigation indicates that while traveling southbound on Shanaska Creek Road, the motorcycle driver, identified as 63-year-old Ben Tresise of Lake Crystal, "laid the bike down," according to the sheriff's office.

Tresise sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The State Patrol is currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash.
