Drivers in St. Paul might want to plan an alternate route as a result of resurfacing work on Lexington Parkway, which begins Tuesday.
According to Ramsey County officials, the stretch of Lexington Parkway between James and University avenues will be removed and replaced. A bike lane between James and St. Clair avenues will also be installed as part of the project, officials said.
The project is expected to be completed in five phases, with the final phase wrapping up on Wednesday, Aug. 22. However, officials said dates are subject to change if severe weather or project setbacks occur.
Officials said major cross streets—including Marshall, Selby, Summit, Grand, St. Clair and Jefferson avenues—will remain open during the resurfacing project.
