Highway 97 near Scandia was closed between Manning and Olinda trails early Tuesday due to a semi truck rollover.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the semi truck driver was traveling eastbound on Highway 97 when the driver fell asleep.
The semi went into the ditch and hit a driveway embankment, which caused the semi to roll and spill the contents of its trailer onto the road.
Eastbound lanes of the highway were blocked by the debris, the state patrol reported.
KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the highway was expected to remain closed until further notice, as a result of cleanup from the rollover.
