Crews closed Highway 7 at County Road 10, KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said.

The closure was expected to last through the morning, Smith said.

Smith said reports indicated the semi was leaking about 3,500 gallons of ethanol. The Minnesota Department of Transportation later estimated 6,000 to 7,000 gallons of ethanol had spilled into a ditch near where the semi had tipped.

Smith added there was no indication the semi driver was injured.
