A few crashes occurred in the metro area Thursday morning, however, delays were limited.

KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said early in the commute, a fire crew responded to a vehicle pulled over on northbound Highway 252 past Interstate 694.

Later, Smith said a crash occurred on the southbound Highway 169 bridge over Interstate 94.

A second crash occurred in the same area shortly after the first, Smith said.

Additionally, drivers stopped to help the driver of a vehicle that had rolled over on southbound Highway 61 near County Road J, Smith reported.

Metro Transit reported buses had replaced the inbound Northstar train from Big Lake that had ceased running temporarily due to mechanical issues.

Meanwhile, Smith said a resurfacing project had reduced eastbound Interstate 94 to one lane west of Monticello. Smith said the project is expected to continue until mid-June.
