KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said authorities weren't able to give many details, other than to say Lyndale Avenue was expected to remain closed for a while.

Authorities confirmed individuals were transported to a nearby hospital, however, they were unable to give the number of people and the extent of the injuries.

Smith advised taking Blaisdell Avenue to get around the closure.

Smith said it appeared the stretch of Lyndale reopened just before 9 a.m.
