A vehicle crash in St. Paul Thursday morning resulted in a power outage.

KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the crash closed a portion of West 7th Street between Homer and Rankin streets as crews worked to restore power to the area.

The vehicle crashed into a power pole in the area, which resulted in the outage.

Meanwhile, Smith said metro area roads were a bit damp Thursday morning, but said overall traffic congestion should be light.
