According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of a Ford Explorer—identified as 32-year-old Andrew Gerlach, of Ramsey—was traveling eastbound on I-694 when the vehicle began to drift off the road to the right.

Gerlach reportedly autocorrected to the left and then overcorrected back to the right, causing the Ford Explorer to roll several times.

Gerlach suffered injuries that were not considered life threatening, according to the state patrol.

Meanwhile, Gerlach's two passengers, identified as a 1-year-old boy and 26-year-old Sadie Webber, suffered injures that were considered life threatening.

Authorities reported the road condition was wet and said the 1-year-old was wearing a seatbelt although it was unknown whether Gerlach and Webber were wearing theirs. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.

The incident remains under investigation.
