Thursday night and Friday night, a portion of southbound Interstate 35W is expected to close in south Minneapolis.
KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the interstate's southbound lanes will close between Interstate 94 and Highway 62 starting at 10 p.m. Thursday. Lanes are expected to reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.
The same closure will take place again Friday into Saturday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation previously postponed the work due to weather.
