Updated: September 14, 2019 10:37 PM

Authorities responded to a flaming trolley on Highway 36 near Cleveland Avenue in St. Paul on Saturday.

Traffic cameras as well as multiple passersby captured footage of the trolley fully engulfed in flames.

Traffic cameras showed multiple emergency responders active on the scene at around 8p.m., and at least one lane of traffic was closed.

Joni Zimmerman, owner of Stillwater Trolley Company, confirms it was one of their trolleys that caught fire. She added that no one was on board, and the driver got out of the vehicle safely.

Zimmerman stated that there is no indication as to how the fire started and that everyone is "still pretty shaken up."

The trolley will be towed to a nearby lot.
