Metro Transit says trains are delayed due to a train vs. pedestrian incident.

At 12:48 p.m., Metro Transit said Green Line trains were delayed in both directions after the incident near University Avenue and Grotto Street.

At 1 p.m., Metro Transit sent out an update stating westbound light rail traffic has resumed.

At 1:18 p.m., Metro Transit said eastbound traffic had also resumed.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene.

No other details were immediately released.
