Fog significantly slowed traffic in the metro Thursday morning.
KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said to watch out for slick spots as a result of freezing mist.
More fog! This is what your drive looks like in Lakeville right now. We could be in for a slower than normal commute today. Be aware of possible slick spots! https://t.co/vexMPScz8f pic.twitter.com/jkhPux7JpR— KSTP Traffic (@kstptraffic) December 13, 2018
Meanwhile, Smith said traffic on Highway 100 from Brooklyn Center to Crystal was particularly slow Thursday morning, with roughly a half hour needed on the highway from Interstate 94 to Interstate 394.
Traffic on Hwy 100 SB from Brooklyn Center to Crystal is MUCH slower than normal this morning! You'll need at least a half hour on Hwy 100 SB from 94 to 394. Fog is likely contributing to those slowdowns. https://t.co/vexMPScz8f pic.twitter.com/jDPfKsuKEI— KSTP Traffic (@kstptraffic) December 13, 2018
