The first phase of street closures for Final Four festivities starts Monday in Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis city officials, streets surrounding U.S. Bank Stadium will close for events related to the games.

Between Monday and April 12, Chicago Avenue between Fourth and Sixth Streets as well as Norm McGrew Place between Third and Fourth Streets will close.

Additionally, street closures and lane restrictions will take place starting April 3. Then, streets, bike lanes and sidewalks will reopen April 9.

Meanwhile, city officials will close portions of Nicollet Mall and several adjacent streets beginning April 1 for Final Four events. Those closures will be lifted April 11, "if not sooner," city officials stated.

The Final Four is scheduled April 5-8 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
