July 22, 2018 04:22 PM

It's going to be another busy week for construction with a long list of ramp closures starting Monday.

In the southwest metro, the ramp from Highway 62 eastbound to Highway 169 northbound closes until August 3. The detour takes drivers to Highway 100. Tracy Avenue to Highway 62 eastbound closes Monday as well, with the detour taking motorists to Highway 62 westbound and Gleason Road.

Starting Wednesday, July 25, the ramp from Highway 169 southbound to Highway 62 eastbound closes along with the ramp from Gleason Road to Highway 62 westbound. The work is part of a larger resurfacing project.

In the east metro, the ramp from I-35E northbound to Highway 36 eastbound closes on Monday until late August. Drivers can use I-694 or go west on Highway 36 and turn around. Crews will be realigning the ramp and updating nearby lighting.

In the north metro, there's good and bad news along Highway 169. The intersections of East Hayden Lake Road, 117th Avenue and 109th Avenue east of the highway, reopened in the last couple of days. Starting Monday, 114th Avenue and 120th Avenue east of Highway 169 in Champlin will close. Learn more about the project.

Drivers will notice some changes to your drive along Highway 65 in Ham Lake this week too. According to MnDOT, a two-year project begins Monday to build six Reduced Conflict Intersections (RCI) along the highway between Spring Lake Park and East Bethel. Crews will begin their work at Highway 65 at 157th Avenue in Ham Lake. Once the work begins, traffic will not be able to cross the highway, but motorists will still be able to turn right at the intersection. Learn more about the project.
