Crashes, road work causing some slow commutes in the metro area

A few crashes and some scheduled road construction are leading to some longer commutes in the metro area Tuesday morning.

I-94 westbound at the 694/494 interchange in the Oakdale and Woodbury area has an accident on the right side of the road.

An RV also caught fire on I-35 southbound near County Road 60 in Lakeville, which created a lot of smoke and slowed traffic. As that happened, a crash occurred, slowing traffic even more and creating major delays. All lanes have since reopened there.

Highway 10 westbound at Sunfish Lake Boulevard has a crash slowing down traffic on the shoulder.

An earlier crash on Highway 169 southbound by 225th Avenue has slowed traffic.

South of Shakopee on Highway 169 at County Road 14, road work has traffic down to a single lane, which could cause some slowdowns as well.

Also, on Highway 169 southbuond at 150th Street, a rollover crash happened where the roadway is down to a single lane in both directions, causing backups.
