A portion of Highway 55 has been closed due to a crash, according to the Dakota County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred west of Goodwin Avenue. A car and a tanker truck collided. According to Hasting's fire chief, both drivers were transported to the hospital with injuries, but their conditions are unknown.


The closure occurred in both directions. Traffic is being diverted due to the closure. The fire chief said the highway will be closed until the tanker truck can be removed.
