Crash that closed part of Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis occurred during pursuit

A crash that closed a portion of Hennepin Avenue in Uptown Minneapolis Wednesday night occurred during a police pursuit, the Minneapolis Park Police said Thursday.

According to the update, a park police officer was driving northbound on Hennepin Avenue at about 8:37 p.m. on the way to assist the Minneapolis Police Department in a pursuit when another vehicle pulled out into traffic in front of the squad.
