A concrete repair project is underway along Interstate 35 between Faribault and Elko.

While the northbound side has been reduced to one lane for about week, work on the southbound side begins Friday night. Lane restrictions will continue in both directions until early November. Crews were planning to get started on the southbound side about a week ago, but that work was postponed until Friday night. Learn more about the project.

Meanwhile, drivers planning to take Highway 169 will encounter a lane closure near Shakopee.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the road will be reduced to one lane in both directions near County Road 14 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning on Sunday as part of a larger project to build a new interchange along the highway. Learn more about the project.

In better news, Highway 210 between Brainerd and Ironton is back open. The highway reopened on Thursday after it was closed since July as part of a reconstruction project. Crews will continue working in the area until mid-October. Learn more.
