Metro Transit said a tow truck was on the way and they "will be back up and running ASAP."

Buses replaced part of the Blue Line route for a brief time, but just before 1:30 p.m. Metro Transit tweeted trains were serving all stops on the line.

According to Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder, an officer attempted a traffic stop when the vehicle fled. The car was left stalled on the tracks, and the driver was arrested for fleeing police. Two other passengers were also booked for warrants.

There were no reported injuries or property damage.
