The car was removed via a tow truck about half an hour after the crash initially occurred.
No one was transported to the hospital following the crash, according to authorities. However, Metro Transit reported minor injuries occurred as a result of the incident.
The Green Line resumed travel in both directions shortly after the scene was cleared.
