Sheriff's office investigating fatal crash in Ham Lake; victim identified

A crash Monday afternoon in Ham Lake left at least one person dead, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said.

The crash happened at around 4:32 p.m. near Naples Street Northeast and Bunker Lake Boulevard Northeast.

A preliminary investigation indicates a man was headed west on Bunker Lake Boulevard when his vehicle crashed at the Naples Street intersection.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff's office said. He was identified Tuesday as 37-year-old Thomas Joseph Hayner, of Andover.
