Updated: July 03, 2019 08:11 AM

If you're planning to head out of town this holiday weekend or just want to check out the Fourth of July events in the Twin Cities, you might run into some issues on the road.

Here are just a few road projects to keep in mind before taking off:

  • Highway 55 is closed between Buffalo and Maple Lake
  • Construction all over I-35W in the north metro between Roseville and the Forest Lake split, including lane closures and lane shifts
  • I-35 north of Harris is down to one lane
  • I-94 between Alexandria and Garfield is down to one lane
  • I-90 between Blue Earth and Fairmont has about 16 miles of roadway getting resurfaced, expect delays
