Westbound Interstate 494 near Hardman Avenue will be closed for a 'significant period of time' according to a tweet from the State Patrol Public Information Officer. 

The closure is occurring in South St. Paul due to a lost load of potatoes. 

Police urge the public to find an alternate route.
