45th Twin Cities Auto Show Underway in Minneapolis

Thousands of people filled the Minneapolis Convention Center Sunday for the 45th Annual Twin Cities Auto Show.

This year, gearheads can find more than 600 vehicles from 36 domestic and international automakers. People can look, touch and even ride inside some of the brand new models.

One of the biggest attractions, in scale and popularity, is Camp Jeep. It didn't take long for a lengthy line to form outside the off-road course, where people can feel the inclines and bumps from the seat of a new Jeep model.

In the luxury ballroom, car-lovers can find the most expensive models at the show. Jon Reyerson, of Morrie's Luxury Auto, said he enjoys watching jaws drop, but his favorite sight is the new generation of car enthusiasts.

"It brings me back to when my mom would follow me around and let me talk to her all the time about cars," Reyerson said. "It's neat to see that there's still a passion out there when everything else is virtual and electronic."

The Twin Cities Auto Show runs through March 18th.
