4 OK after vehicle enters holding pond near Edina

Four people, including two children, were rescued after their vehicle went into a holding pond near Edina. 

The incident happened just before 3 a.m. Monday on a ramp off Interstate 494 and Highway 169. 

Edina fire officials say the man was able to get to shore on his own, while officers went in to save the woman and the two children who were on the roof of the car. 

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has learned everyone is OK and that they were taken to an area hospital to be evaluated.
