Four people were injured Sunday in a crash in Scott County, according to a release from the sheriff's office.
The release said deputies were called just before 9 a.m. on Sunday to the area of 185th Street East and Natchez Avenue on the report of a three-vehicle crash.
Witnesses told deputies a black Jeep Cherokee driven by Gail Schauer was northbound on Natchez Avenue when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a Ford Taurus driven by Jason Foltz.
The sheriff's office said a Nissan Pathfinder following the Taurus swerved and made contact with the Jeep Cherokee. The sheriff's office identified the driver of the Nissan as Leisha Baruch.
All three drivers were transported to an area hospital. Fourteen-year-old Samuel Foltz, a passenger in the Ford, was also taken to the hospital.
The sheriff's office said alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
