A mother and her two adult sons are dead after a crash Saturday evening in Palmer Township, just southeast of St. Cloud.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office said an SUV was heading north on County Road 20 around 4:45 p.m. when witnesses said it went through a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 3 and was struck by a Chevrolet pickup heading west on County Road 3.

Three occupants in the SUV were killed in the crash, the sheriff's office said. They were identified as Lucille A. Hansen, 77, Jason J. Hansen, 43, and Jeffrey J. Hansen, 48, all of South Haven. Lucille was the mother of Jason and Jeffrey.

The driver of the pickup, Logan C. Hary, 24, of Sauk Rapids, sustained injuries in the crash that were not considered life threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
