Two people were killed when a driver in a pickup truck struck a horse-drawn buggy in central Minnesota Sunday morning.

According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, 23-year-old Marc Lucas Knapp was driving northbound on County Road 9 near Avon when he struck the horse and buggy, which was traveling on the shoulder.
