A 17-year-old from Pipestone was killed in a crash Monday morning in Stearns County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened on Highway 15 at County Road 146 in Maine Prairie Township at 8:28 a.m. A Mack semi was traveling northbound on Highway 15. A Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling west on County Road 146 and failed to stop, colliding with the semi in the intersection.

Authorities say road conditions involved snow and ice.

The driver of the semi, identified as 43-year-old Jeremiah Evan Andreoff, from Cosmos, suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening. The 17-year-old female driver of the Jeep — identified as Aileen Aguilar — was killed in the crash.
