1 Injured in Douglas County Motorcycle Crash

One person was injured in motorcycle crash in Douglas County Friday evening, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

The release said deputies were called around 6:10 p.m. to Douglas County Road 9 near Crooked Lake Road Northeast.

The caller reported a motorcycle left the road. According to the sheriff's office, the caller said the driver was injured.

The caller went on to tell authorities that a white pickup truck stopped and picked up the driver of the motorcycle and left. 

Deputies checked nearby residences for the driver of the motorcycle, but were unable to locate him. 

The driver of the motorcycle – later identified as Shane Schlosser – arrived at an area hospital early Saturday morning with "significant neck injuries". Schlosser was later transported to St. Cloud Hospital
